In the Fall 2015 semester at Michigan State University, I took a course called Media & Information 401 (MI401): Social Media & Society. My assigned group and I had to create a social media campaign for the MSU Office of Sustainability targeting freshmen students. Our resulting project was a well-planned and executed social media campaign using Snapchat as the primary channel that was set to take place during the National Food Sustainability Month in September, targeting incoming on-campus MSU freshmen. The ready-to-execute campaign was packed with weekly themes and challenges to get freshmen students involved in regularly practicing food sustainable actions to minimize the percentage of food wasted in on-campus cafeterias by students. I created the visuals for the presentation and the campaign using Adobe Illustrator and Canva. The visuals were created using free elements from www.FreePik.com
